MAYS LANDING, NJ – Former New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Douglas Fisher has endorsed Bayly Winder for Congress in New Jersey’s and Congressional District, underscoring the campaign’s growing strength across South Jersey.

Fisher, who served as Secretary of Agriculture under three governors until 2023, spent 14 years in the role and previously represented New Jersey’s 3rd Legislative District in the General Assembly. He praised Winder’s strategy of meeting voters where they are, clear focus on the kitchen-table issues of affordability and healthcare, and commitment to policies that support agricultural development.

“Bayly Winder understands what it takes to strengthen South Jersey’s economy, make life more affordable for communities, and stand up for farmers. He knows how high the stakes are for the midterm elections and his platform is focused on what matters most to voters.”

Winder has called for expanded access to farm credit for small businesses and highlighted the strain of President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” on rural hospitals. He recently held a town hall in Woolwich and had an interview with the owners of a small family farm in Hammonton.
