Atlantic County, NJ — The campaign of Bayly Winder, Democratic candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, today announced the endorsements of Pleasantville Council President Carla Thomas and Pleasantville Councilman Charles Oglesby, Sr., adding to Winder’s growing momentum in Atlantic County. The endorsements underscore Winder’s support among local elected leaders who know the district and its challenges firsthand.
“Atlantic County is my home, and the support I’m receiving here means a great deal to me,” said Bayly Winder. “I’m honored to earn the trust of leaders like Council President Thomas and Councilman Oglesby as we fight for real results for South Jersey.”
Council President Thomas cited Winder’s commitment to working families and local communities as key reasons for her support.
“Bayly Winder understands Pleasantville,” said Council President Carla Thomas. “He listens, he shows up, and he’s focused on the big problem of our time, making life more affordable for working families.”
Councilman Oglesby echoed that sentiment, pointing to Winder’s character and connection to the district.
“Bayly knows our challenges, and genuinely cares about our future,” said Councilman Charles Oglesby, Sr. “I’m proud to support a candidate who will fight for our communities in Washington.”
These endorsements build on Winder’s growing coalition of support across South Jersey. He has previously been endorsed by former New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Doug Fisher and former Assemblyman Ed Salmon, reflecting strong backing from respected leaders with deep experience in public service.
